Donations and Wishlist

The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Denver greatly appreciates your support of our mission to provide shelter and services to homeless families in the greater Denver community. There are many ways to give to IHN of Greater Denver.

Wish List

IHN always needs things to help at the daysite. We currently need cleaning supplies, office supplies, a vacuum, a Dust Buster, a DVD player, a bulletin board, feminine hygiene products, diapers, baby wipes, over-the-counter medicine for adults and children, or gas cards. Contact the office about donating to IHN.

Financial Gifts

IHN of Greater Denver could not serve families experiencing homelessness without the incredible contributions from our partner congregations and volunteers. However, even with congregations' in-kind donations and volunteers, we still must raise funds to operate. Financial gifts are always needed, welcomed, and appreciated.

As a part of the Denver Enterprise Zone (DEZ), individuals and corporate donors can plan for their own tax liability while generously supporting IHN of Greater Denver.  When you give a gift of at least $200 annually, you can receive a 25% state tax credit.

GoodSearch: You Search...We Give!

Support IHN by Searching the Web or Shopping Online

An easy way to help IHN is through a Yahoo!-powered search engine and online shopping mall called GoodSearch. The more people who use this site, the more money will go to those in need. IHN earns a penny every time someone searches the Internet using this service or a percentage of every purchase made online to support our cause. Use it as you would any search engine and get quality search results.

Go to GoodSearch and enter "Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Denver" as the charity you want to support on the pop-up menu.

eBay Giving Works

Your Unneeded Presents Can Become Our Next Fundraisers—Did you or someone in your family receive gifts you’re not sure what to do with? Maybe you got a snazzy new camera, but don’t want to toss your old one. Perhaps you received the same item from two different people or got a sweater that’s just not your style.

Turn that gift you’re not sure you need into funding for our mission! Sell unneeded presents on eBay Giving Works and donate a portion of the entire final sale price to us. It’s giving back without giving it back. To get started:

  1. Log into your eBay account and click “Sell.”
  2. Look for the “Donate a percentage of sale” field in the Sell Your Item form. (It’s in the “How you’re selling” area. If you don’t see it, click on the “Customize Form—Format” link and select “Donate percentage of sale.”)
  3. Choose “Select a new nonprofit.”
  4. On the next page that appears, type ” Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Denver.
  5. When “Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Denver” appears, click “Select.”
  6. Choose a percentage you wish to donate to us.
  7. If this is your first eBay Giving Works listing, you will be prompted to create a MissionFish account (the nonprofit that powers eBay Giving Works).

It’s that simple! If your item sells, our organization receives the percentage you selected to donate or $5 (that’s the minimum donation amount per listing that sells), whichever is greater. You’ll get a fee credit for the Final Value and Insertion fees equal to the percentage you donated. Have questions? Please visit http://givingworks.ebay.com/sell/ to learn more.
