Become a Host for the IHN Summer Solstice Series! *Donations Not Dishes, A Unique Event* Create your own mini-fundraiser—brunch, pancake breakfast, wine tasting, barbecue, Bridge party, gourmet dinner, high tea—and turn your next social gathering of friends and contacts into an opportunity to share IHN’s mission. When we go to a friend’s house for a party, we usually take flowers, wine, or a dish. In this case, ask guests not to bring anything, but instead to make a donation to IHN to help homeless families. Plan your event any time during the year to celebrate fall, winter, summer, or spring. Register your event by contacting Gayle Craun, IHN Fund Raising Committee, at 303-752-3343 or gcraun2001@yahoo.com. Gayle will sent you a Host Kit with information about email invitations, “Tips for Hosts,” a summary sheet, and materials to help you tell your guests about IHN. You may request the executive director or board member attend your event to give a brief overview of IHN and answer your guests’ questions. Join the fun and make a difference in the lives of homeless families! |

Backyard Work Project IHN is continuously working on improving it’s backyard so that children and parents can enjoy the beautiful summer weather. This May we will be having our final work day project to plant grass and flowers, re-finish our picnic table, and make our backyard a warm and inviting place for families. “Warmth of Home” Cookbooks IHN has compiled almost 200 delicious recipes to make our “Warmth of Home” cookbook. All of the recipes came from our many of volunteers and includes recipes such as; super bowl bread, baked potato soup, chile relleno casserole, and many many more! Pancake Breakfast Please mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Pancake Breakfast at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 7am-10am. Located at the corner of Monaco and Hampden, Calvary Baptist and its volunteers whip up pancakes with sausage with entertainment, contests, a mini auction and celebrity flippers to start your Saturday off right. All proceeds go to Interfaith Hospitality Network. Tickets are $5 for kids 10 and under and $10 for adults. Please call Pat Hagen to buy tickets or with questions 303-713-1368. |

Warming Ways for Winter A relaxed evening to visit with friends and meet new ones too! There will be tasty appetizers, soups, delicious desserts, wine and beer bar, and a silent auction. The event will be held on October 21, 2010 from 530 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Temple Emanuel located at 51 Grape St. Denver 80220 Admission is $40 per person or $500 per corporate table.
